Ft. Concho, II

Walking around Ft. Concho, which was established after the Civil War in 1867, is a fantastic experience.  To be surrounded by so much history that is so well preserved is simply fantastic to a history nut like myself.

After a wonderful morning at Ft. Concho, the Duke and I headed north to yet another frontier fort – Ft. Chadbourne.  More on that tomorrow.
