Retro overlook

This overlook is one of my favorite spots in the LBJ grasslands.  Nothing like a wide open landscape, the sun at your back and the wind blowing through the tall grass.  For me, the road adds a bit of mystery…. where does it go and what might one find down the road?

Still in somewhat of a retro mood, I hit my fast becoming favorite preset in LR and viola!

  1. Did you take that road, in the end? Where does it actually go? Curious 🙂 Peaceful shot filled with mystery ~

    • Actually, I rode in on that road, and parked at the base of the hill. It leads to a wonderful little valley just out of sight in the background. 😉 Thanks much for stopping by and joining the conversation!

  2. Mystery solved 🙂

  6. Gorgeous photograph. I love to travel roads that seem to go nowhere but draw you along. . . irresistible.
