Taking a quick look at the dictionary, unaffected means: not affected,  acted upon, or influenced; unchanged unaltered: unpretentious, natural. After thinking about it for awhile, as I transition into something a bit more professional-ish (just what does that mean in photography, anyway?) I’ve decided on calling my work unaffected.

To me, it basically means I’m going to do my own thing.  I’m not one to ever follow trends or run with the pack and I think my photography shows that.  This spot on the web, mysightpicture, will stay here as it is – because this is all about what I’m seeing and I want to continue to share stuff that I see and like enough to make an image of.

I can’t stand those blogs where it’s always buy buy buy!  That’s not going to happen here.  I will, however, from time to time remind ya’ll that there are other places online to see my stuff and if you’re so inclined, you can even order something to be delivered to your door.

Towards that end, I’d like to point ya’ll to my much unused and often ignored (by me!) smugmug page. I’ve spent the last week or so cleaning it up, getting rid of things that don’t belong there anymore and really trying to make it a place to showcase my work.   I’m not sure that I’m going to keep the smugmug page around, but it’s a start and we’ll see how it goes.

Other than that, ya’ll carry on and enjoy what’s left of your weekend!!

  1. I don’t think I even knew you had another spot set up, Mr. B!
Please do keep me informed… I’m a bit slow, you know!

  2. Likewise… wasn’t aware of it! I’m glad you pointed it out. Hope it works well for you.
