New Mexico barn

Even though I was having an absolute blast carving through the mountains of New Mexico on my motorcycle, I just HAD to stop and take this image.

I hope you think it was as cool a place as I did!!

I have to say I’m appreciating the ability of my camera to put together HDR in camera and without a tripod.  It’s insane!  It has allowed me truly 360 degree opportunity for images.  Once upon a time, taking this image into the sun wouldn’t have been possible!

  1. Very cool, Derrick. 🙂

  2. Nicely done. A real crisp shot through and through. Hard to pass up an old, warped barn.

  3. That barn stopped you for good reason!

  4. Great photo! Enjoyed!
    God Bless You, Derrick!

  5. IN camera you say?! Doubt I could pull off that successful an HDR image ‘OUT’ camera! 🙂

  6. I’ve never been big on HDR — most of what I see is overdone — but this is putting it to good use. Nice work Derrick.

    • thank you PJ! The more I experiment with it the more I like it – it lets me take an image that is pretty close to what my eyes are seeing when the scene is very high contrast….
