It's always a treat to watch a horse drawn plow turn the soil.
If you want a greater appreciation of where your food comes from and how much work it took to produce it, try plowing behind a team of horses or oxen. I've had the good fortune to do so a few times and it is always humbling.
Trying to keep the row straight and not trip over your own two feet takes up all of my ability and I have always had someone else guiding the horses for me.
And then, someone who actually knows what they're doing does a perfect row and to boot, they made it look easy.
