Big Bend Ranch State Park

I’ve got to say that the last few times I’ve been out to Big Bend National Park the views were as awesome as usual but there seemed to be a lot of people there too!!  (By Big Bend standards, anyway)

If you feel the same way, head a little further west of visit Big Bend Ranch State Park and you’ll pretty much have the place all to yourself!

  1. Beautiful light, Derrick.

  2. Wonderful composition and color. I’ve been taking photos of a cottonwood tree near the Rancho Viejo spring from all directions for a long time but I feel I’m always missing something – I think you’ve got it all. It seems to me that a lot of the BBRSP landscape is subtle: the forms, the textures, the colors. You have captured it beautifully.
