On two wheels
I had the opportunity to volunteer as a course marshal a few weeks ago at a local bike race. Of course… I brought my camera and snagged a few shots.

Every single training session, several times a day, this is how Max and I finish up. No matter how good or bad it’s gone, no matter if he was perfect or if he frustrated the shit out of me, we finish like this. When I can tell there’s a handful of treats left, we will have a seat and when he makes eye contact he gets a treat.
He’s learned when my palm is empty with no more treats he can give a hug and get some pets. It’s hard sometimes to not let this 105 pound dog knock me on my ass but it’s worth it to build the bond the @mritland teaches you to build with your dog.

It is imperative that we assure our four-legged friends enjoy a peaceful, restful and happy life when they are retired.
The Warrior Dog Foundation prides itself on providing care and rehabilitation for the K9's who would otherwise be euthanized. We could not do what we do without the support of all of you. Your donations go directly to the care of the K9s and that is why we are able to bring in new K9s as needed.
