Late winter, early spring in the east Texas woods are quite nice! Mosquitoes aren’t out, the snakes aren’t moving and the temperature is perfect.

Note to self…. When carrying a delicious pastry treat on your bike ride, take it out of the foil wrapper and put it in a ziplock bag. Otherwise, all the crumbles will become embedded into your cycling kit and be impossible to eat.
