Every single training session, several times a day, this is how Max and I finish up. No matter how good or bad it’s gone, no matter if he was perfect or if he frustrated the shit out of me, we finish like this. When I can tell there’s a handful of treats left, we will have a seat and when he makes eye contact he gets a treat. He’s learned when my palm is empty with no more treats he can give a hug and get some pets. It’s hard sometimes to not let this 105 pound dog knock me on my ass but it’s worth it to build the bond the @mritland teaches you to build with your dog. #teamdog #trikosteamdog #gsd #gsdofinstagram #gooddog

Help these fine folks out this Giving Tuesday! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @warriordogfoundation Let us remember that our freedoms have come at a very high cost paid for with the lives of our country's unbelievable and worthy vets and their equally amazing K9 warriors. It is with great humility that we honor our K9 partners who have proven to be so important in so many of our dangerous military missions. Their bravery, intelligence, and loyalty are proven as they fearlessly accompany our soldiers into battle or lead the way in precarious, unknown situations. It is imperative that we assure our four-legged friends enjoy a peaceful, restful and happy life when they are retired. The Warrior Dog Foundation prides itself on providing care and rehabilitation for the K9's who would otherwise be euthanized. We could not do what we do without the support of all of you. Your donations go directly to the care of the K9s and that is why we are able to bring in new K9s as needed. On this #GivingTuesday you can double the impact of your donation. The Woods Charitable Trust has challenged us to raise $25,000 TODAY on #GivingTuesday. If we meet our goal, they will match it with a $25,000 donation! If you are unable to donate, sharing our mission with friends, family and on social media is an incredible way to support us.
